Early Bird Rates for PIA Franklin Event Sponsorships
PITTSBURGH—July 14, 2009—Looking for a way to expand your sales and marketing efforts in today’s challenging economy? Attend PIA’s 2009 Franklin Event and network directly with hundreds of key executive decision makers from the printing, publishing, advertising and graphic communications sectors—no cold calls or appointments needed.
New this year are “early bird” rates for companies wishing to sponsor the fall event. Interested firms which sign up by July 31 can save considerable dollars. Platinum sponsorships (reserved table of ten), normally $5,000 are $4,000 and Gold sponsorships (reserved table of five), normally $2,500 are $2,000. Individual tickets are $350. All sponsors receive prominent mention in the association’s extensive pre and post-event media campaign, association website roster, printed program and venue signage. Final deadline for all sponsorships is September 14.
Participants to date include Federal Direct, Graytor Printing Company, HudsonYards, Printing News, Sandy Alexander, Quebecor World, and Xerox Corporation (all Platinum) and Hiflex Corp. of North America and Premium Color Group LLC (Gold).
The popular event, which this year recognizes a prestigious roster of award recipients, is slated for September 30 (5:30-10:00 pm) at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers. Highlighting the ceremony with the coveted Franklin Award for Distinguished Service, the industry’s highest honor, will be Cathie Black, President, Hearst Magazines. Power of Communications Awards will be given to: (for Printing) Patrick Pagani, Vice President/General Manager, Ramsey Press; (for Publishing) Celie Baussan, Senior Vice President, Operations & Technology, SourceMedia; and (for Advertising) Lori Carrabba, Senior Partner/Director of Production Services, Ogilvy HealthWorld. Stephen Whittaker, Vice President, Quality Management/Sustainability Initiatives, Monroe Litho will receive the John Peter Zenger Medal for Exemplary Military Service to our nation.
