MEMPHIS, TN—EM Printing has purchased Jaco-Bryant Printers from American Paper Optics, the Memphis Business Journal reported. American Paper Optics acquired Jaco-Bryant on Oct. 4 following the retirement of Sam Lencke, Jaco-Bryant president.
American Paper Optics initially intended to move Jaco-Bryant into its Bartlett, TN, facility, but found it would require extensive retrofitting, the paper said.
Both EM Printing and Jaco-Bryant will operate out of EM Printing's 44,500-square-foot facility. All 15 of Jaco-Bryant's full-time employees will be absorbed by EM Printing.
The companies posted combined sales of $7.7 million in 2012, according to the Business Journal.
