Affordable, flexible automation expert Enfocus has revealed that PitStop, its market-leading print preflighting software solution, is now even better as it rolls out its 25.03 update.
The update means PitStop, the gold standard in PDF quality control software for almost 30 years, now offers a host of new features and quality-of-life improvements, better performance, and a number of minor bug fixes. The headline feature of the 25.03 update is the ‘Compare Gamut’ tool, which enables users to identify potential color conversion issues before they occur, ensuring accuracy and improving efficiency.
25.03 also brings resource syncing for PitStop Server subscribers, making it easy to share resources between PitStop Pro and PitStop Server instances. This means that any changes to Action Lists or Preflight Profiles are propagated across an organization, ensuring uniformity across the print production process. Other improvements include the ability to disable individual Actions within Action Lists for easier debugging, to set variables using a simple drop-down box, to convert shading to path, and more.
Loïc Aigon, Product Manager PitStop at Enfocus, commented, “Customer feedback drives everything we do, and the latest update delivers on that. With powerful new features designed to enhance automation and control, our customers can keep increasing their efficiency”.
"From anticipating color conversion issues with the new color gamut comparison tool to seamlessly interconnecting PitStop Pro and PitStop Server across multiple plants on top of all other additions, this 25.03 version reinforces why, after 25-plus years, PitStop remains the top choice for professionals who demand the best in PDF editing.”
The 25.03 update is available to all PitStop users now.
