Yesterday, Enfocus held a press conference to discuss updates to its PDF tool PitStop Pro, as well as its software automation platform, Switch.
Switch, which was launched back in May at ISA, is a workflow automation platform that connects MIS, proofing, web-to-print, PDF preflighting, customer approval and production preparation processes. This enables printers to create a fully automated process for their print applications and devices to save time and costs,
ultimately driving greater value through the entire value chain.
Davy Verstaen, Switch product manager, Enfocus, announced the Switch fall edition will feature rush jobs that will allow print service providers to change the priority of a job within the web portal and make sure the job is processed before any other.
John Dean, pitstop product manager, Enfocus, took the stage to discuss PitStop Pro — which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Dean also announced that coming in November 2022 is the PitStop library container — a software development kit that is for anyone who wants to integrate PitStop technology in any B2C or B2B environment.
