ePac Flexible Packaging Announces Atlanta as Its Next Site for a New Printing Plant
SCHILLER PARK, Ill. - November 1, 2018 - ePac Flexible Packaging is pleased to announce expansion into the Atlanta market. Order taking is now open, with fulfillment done by one of ePac’s four other open locations until the plant is open in Gwinnett County in early 2019.
Established in 2016, ePac is a leader in short- and medium run-length, quick-turn pouches and roll stock for brands of all sizes. ePac is the first U.S.-based flexible packaging company built entirely on emerging digital printing technology, providing brands of all sizes rapid turnaround and the ability to order custom printed short and medium run length jobs, with photo-quality graphics.
ePac Atlanta is a partnership between ePac Holdings, Windell McGill, and F&S Capital, a Tulsa, Okla.-based investment company that focuses on innovative business models and market opportunities that deliver maximum returns. Windell McGill will serve as the company’s Managing Partner. McGill has lived in the greater Atlanta area for more than 30 years and has extensive experience in digital printing and packaging, most recently with Hewlett-Packard in Alpharetta.
“I’m excited to bring ePac’s unique business model to the Atlanta region," McGill says. "Small and medium-sized businesses, in particular, will benefit from having a local supplier to work with as an option to traditional and overseas packaging suppliers. With our digital platform, ePac customers launch new products faster, run more promotions and order to demand, thereby reducing inventory and obsolescence.”
According to Virag Patel, COO of ePac, “We’re delighted to add ePac Atlanta to our rapidly growing business. This will bring the number of announced ePac locations to seven, four of which are operational today, and the balance slated to open early next year.”
ePac is a full-service flexible packaging provider, with pre-press, digital printing that produces true high definition graphics quality, lamination and pouch making all performed at ePac sites across the U.S.
