(Charlotte Tueckmantel, GM Global eCommerce, Enterprise Print and Publication, eProductivity Software, shares her thoughts on the ePS CONNECT 2023 user conference, and how the company has evolved over the last year as an independent entity.)
The beginning of a new year is an exciting time. It’s a chance to open a new book and write the first chapter, a time of optimism and anticipation for the months ahead. For us at eProductivity Software, it’s especially exciting this year; just over a year on from becoming an independent entity, our evolution is well underway, and as I write this we are just a day away from the first ePS CONNECT event taking place January 23 – 26 at the Wynn Las Vegas. A familiar setting, but a whole new ball game for us as a business, as well as for our users and partners, and we can’t wait to see the ePS vision of CONNECT brought to life.
However, while a new year brings hope and change, there is no doubt that 2023 also brings with it some challenges that we may have preferred to leave in 2022. Globally, we’re still facing tough economic conditions that are putting pressure on businesses. Many countries are facing energy crises. When it’s more important than ever to reduce downtime, eliminate inefficiencies and rationalize workflows as it is right now, ePS is proud to offer print businesses the broadest portfolio of tools for keeping their profits in their business.
With a singular focus on software solutions and the ability to integrate with a wider range of hardware and enabling technology partners, ePS is in a stronger position than ever to support our customers as they face these challenges head on. Whether it’s a product such as Midmarket Print Suite, that can help printers to boost RFQ response times, estimate more accurately, and improve efficiency through workflow automation; or Enterprise Commercial Print Suite, simplifying and expediting the collection and integration of company-wide data to enhance productivity, increase capacity, and reduce waste; perhaps it's Quick Print Suite for the seamless integration of e-commerce and web-to-print capabilities of MarketDirect StoreFront and PrintSmith Vision. It could be any or all of the above and more that is the missing piece of the puzzle for your print business in 2023.
Particularly in tough times, people want to understand that their challenges are not necessarily unique or because of errors on their part. They want to know that there are others in a similar boat, learn from those that have been in their shoes, and find the best path forward. This is why an event like CONNECT is so valuable. Yes, the speaker program is outstanding, and the educational sessions will empower so many users to go back to their businesses and action something that is sure to boost success.
But some of my favorite feedback from past events is hearing about the connections that customers make with each other, sharing experiences and advice with their peers and even potential competitors. It’s something that is hard to find anywhere else, and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful and unexpected ways in which the simple decision to attend CONNECT changes the trajectory of ePS users’ year ahead, and beyond, for the better.
