Executive Outlook 09 to Address Preparing for a Recovery Economy
RESTON, VA—March 3, 2009—Which industry trends are the ones to watch in today's economic environment? How can printers today leverage the industry's hottest technologies to gain a competitive edge in a recovering economy? These are just some of the questions to be answered at this year's EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK Conference, to be held in Chicago's McCormick Place on Thursday, September 10, 2009, the day before the global PRINT 09 show opens.
The 14th edition of EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK, themed "Technology Harnessed: Driving the Road to Recovery," will provide printers across every market segment with practical information on how to use technology to gain a competitive advantage in a recovering economy. In tandem with the debut of PackPrint at PRINT 09, the show-within-a-show designed for veteran package printers and other attendees seeking to enter the package printing industry, this year's edition of EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK will include timely and essential information for the package printing industry.
Plenary sessions will focus on issues such as: the economy; the environment-green/ sustainability.where the money is; how to finance new equipment; emerging technologies such as Radio Frequency Identification (RFID); and, other key topics that will impact the broad graphic communications industry. Highly-specific concurrent technical topics, featured in "Technology for Me" sessions, will provide 'how-to' information targeted to the individual requirements of packaging and commercial printers.
"EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK 09 will be an action-oriented technology update event that will educate and equip today's printers from every market segment, now including package printing, to prosper in a recovering economy. At this year's Conference it will be technology first and product information second, delivered impartially by a knowledgeable powerhouse of leading industry consultants, printers and suppliers," according to the organizer and moderator, William C. Lamparter, President of the PrintCom Consulting Group who will again chair this event, one of the industry's most highly anticipated and longest running conferences.
An annual highlight of the EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK Conference is the closing session that features the announcement of the MUST SEE 'EMS technology and product awards recipients. The MUST SEE 'EMS program identifies those products that show goers must consider to remain competitive in the industry and serves as a road map to PRINT 09. This year's entries will showcase the newest and most compelling technologies from across the entire spectrum of graphic communications.
