Braintree Printing Installs Second Xerox iGen4
BRAINTREE, MA—Commercial and quick printing provider Braintree Printing has installed a second Xerox iGen4 digital color press in order to meet the needs of other printers, brokers and print resellers throughout New England and New York. The company says it has seen "explosive growth" in the number of color pages it produces, averaging more than one million a month.
Braintree Printing Owner Jim Corliss points out that the iGen4 allows his company to print 6,600 pages per hour and run sheets up to 14x22". He says that customer demand for color copying has exploded this year.
"We average one million color pages a month and run two extended shifts operating our two iGens an average of 20 hours per day," Corliss notes. "The iGens have helped increase our company's productivity, enabling us to meet customer deadlines while ensuring high quality."
Owned by Corliss, Jerry Hogan and Jose Tafur, Braintree Printing was originally a Sir Speedy franchise before changing its name in 2008 to reflect its evolution from quick to commercial printing. The 27-year-old company specializes in four- and five-color offset printing and provides digital design and copying, mailing services, book manufacturing and CD duplication.
