FastSigns, Epson Partner to Offer Franchisees New Epson SureColor S60600 Solvent Printer
ORLANDO, Fla. — April 25, 2016 — FastSigns International, a leader in signs, graphics and visual communications, and Epson America, a global leader in printing technology, have announced a partnership to offer franchisees the all-new Epson SureColor S60600 roll-to-roll solvent printer. Beginning May 1, all 600 franchisees in the FastSigns network will be able to integrate the high-speed, high-production printer into centers, which boasts substantial technological enhancements to save centers time and money while producing some of the highest quality output available today. Currently, three locations have the new printer installed, with 33 new FastSigns centers expected to open this year with the new printer.
"After undergoing an extensive selection process, we made the decision to travel to Epson's headquarters in Japan to see the design and manufacturing capabilities firsthand," says FastSigns International Director of Tech and Supply Chain Brian Boehm. "In addition to the attainable price point offered by the Epson SureColor S60600, we were incredibly impressed by the updated technology the printer offers, making it a true workhorse, which we know all of our franchisees will enjoy."
The 64˝ SureColor S60600 features newly-developed Epson UltraChrome GS3 four-color solvent ink for sharp print quality, durability, and media compatibility. When combined with an all-new precision media feeding system and a high-performance Dual-Array PrecisionCore TFP print head, the SureColor S60600 is capable of producing sellable quality banner at an astonishing 550 ft* per hour, while also producing adhesive vinyl output at up to 310 ft* per hour.
"The SureColor S60600 is one of the most productive sign printers we've ever developed," explains Matt McCausland, product manager, professional imaging, Epson America. "The partnership with FastSigns brings the advanced benefits of the S60600 to centers across the nation, and we know each location will enjoy this innovative printing solution."
