Ann McKee, Allen’s mother, is also suing Metro Government for failing to install signs that warn motorists of pedestrians crossing the street where the accident took place. Brown’s parents are also listed as defendants in the suit.
Jive Printing, which offers digital printing and mailing services, is accused of “encouraging guests to drink heavily by providing copious amounts of free alcohol and passing out shots of liquor by bartenders, who did not properly monitor the guests’ level of intoxication,” the suit contends. Bradshaw and Brown reportedly left the party, which was scheduled to last until 11:30 p.m., around 2 a.m.
