HOUSTON—August 1, 2012—Ferrostaal Equipment Solutions North America is now exclusively marketing the new Ryobi 760E series printing press. The six-up press, available in up to six colors with perfector, offers commercial and in-plant printers an affordable, environmentally friendly and space-saving way to grow their business.
“A growing number of printers in the United States and Canada tell us they need an economy-priced press like this—one that delivers unmatched quality, ease of operation and low maintenance at a low total cost-per-impression,” said Ferrostaal Equipment Solutions North America CEO John Torrey.
“Coupled with Ferrostaal’s rapid-ready, expert local service, the new Ryobi press is an ideal way for small- and mid-size printers to equip for the future,” Torrey explained. “Importantly, when operating at maximum power, this press consumes 20 percent less power than competing presses, significantly cutting electricity costs and reducing environmental impact.”
The new Ryobi 760E series press is based on Ryobi’s most successful modern press, the feature-rich Ryobi 750 series that is available in up to 10 colors with perfector, LED-UV drying, UV cast and cure system, and other productivity and business-building options. The Ryobi 750 series press is installed at printing companies and in-plant facilities worldwide.
Like the 750, the new 760E series has double-diameter impression and transfer cylinders, superior inking and dampening mechanisms, and many other automation features that minimize makeready time and cost.
The new 760E series press runs at a maximum speed of 13,000 sheets per hour. It also features a large delivery pile capacity and a 26 percent smaller total footprint than comparable six-up presses. Maximum paper size for the press is 30.12x23.62˝—10 percent more than competing presses. Natural and synthetic substrates from onion skin to lightweight packaging grades can be used.
