Fire Ruins Freeport Press Office

Owner Dave Pilcher Sr. says the fire caused about $600,000 in damage. But no one was injured.

“We are grateful to the Lord that there was no loss of life or injury to personnel,” Pilcher notes.

Freeport Press’ two most critical servers were rescued from the flames, and the company didn’t lose any data. Production resumed at 7 p.m. that evening.
