Heidelberg Shows Latest Technology at First Print Media Center Atlanta Event
KENNESAW, Ga.—December 22, 2015—At a recent open house, Heidelberg hosted over 150 customers from the United States, Canada and Brazil for a full day of demonstrations and seminars. Customers who attended viewed live demonstrations of the latest technology across Heidelberg’s comprehensive print portfolio, the North American launch of the new DryStar LED and the unveiling of its newly branded demonstration center, Print Media Center Atlanta.
"We strive to not just be a provider, but a partner," said Andy Rae, senior vice president of equipment. "Customers were able to get a first glimpse of our extensive offerings and brand new, cutting-edge technology we hope will support them in surpassing their business goals in today’s highly competitive environment."
Highlights included the Speedmaster XL 106-8P+L with full UV, LE UV and LED UV, the first of its kind in the world, and the Speedmaster XL 75-5+L Anicolor with UV, the first to be installed in the United States. Pushing the Limits
"We credit much of our success to the innovative and unique solutions we deploy for our clients’ most complicated print needs. Heidelberg’s commitment to providing support for our relentless desire to push the limits of technology in order to create greater value adds is clear," said John Falconetti, CEO, Drummond Press. "Understanding firsthand Heidelberg’s UV technology, analog solution and latest digital improvements, are helpful as we continually strive to adapt our capital investment strategies."
Bernie Elzer III, CEO, Grafika, also noted, "Heidelberg always does a first rate job. In the last year we purchased an XL [106 press], Prinect workflow, a Suprasetter CtP and a Linoprint. The efficiency, I believe, in today’s market needs to happen with a system of purchases that work together. Prinect gives us the power to do that. It can speak to any of the equipment in the plan. That’s the type of integration I think the printing companies of the future are going to need."
Driven to Deliver
Heidelberg is committed to providing intentional and educational opportunities designed to deliver integrated, cost-effective solutions through customer driven 1:1 engagement.
