Komori Corporation announces that Artron Art Group Co., Ltd., Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China, a leader of global art printing, and Komori reached a basic agreement on the purchase of a Komori Impremia NS40 40-inch Sheetfed Nanographic Printing System at China Print 2021 last month. This is the first NS40 to be installed in China. The purchase agreement is based on Artron Group’s confidence that the capabilities of the high-speed, B1-size digital printing system are vitally important to its business strategy going forward.
Supported by Komori's advanced technologies that offer unique designs like the use of image transfer blankets, the Impremia NS40 achieves B1 print speeds of 6,500 sheets per hour. As a “digital offset” press, its productivity and profitability help expand a print provider’s portfolio by meeting growing demand for short and medium runs, including variable printing and versioning for immediate turnaround on jobs such as packages, displays, point of purchase, large format posters and photographs.
Founded in 1993, Artron Art Group is China’s leading commercial printer in the field of art printing, such as art books and auction catalogs. The company's art-related printed materials are highly regarded by the world’s most renowned designers. Komori has been building a strategic cooperative relationship with this high-end art book and publication commercial printer since 1996.
