I’ve got a fun exercise to share with you this week. As you know, I love format modification, and I’m going to show you three Open Gate formats that build on each other.
What’s great about them:
- Each concept challenges the picture you have in your head of a classic Open Gate.
- The formats build on each other, layering orientation, panel shape, symmetry, and print effects to change up a classic.
Now, I want you to take this idea and think about other classic formats that you can modify by adding these simple techniques. Have fun with it! Thanks for watching — I appreciate you.
