Today I’m sharing three examples of a format called the Broadside Booklet fold. It’s a chameleon of a format that presents as a booklet without any binding mechanism, and transforms into a poster.
Here’s what's great about this week’s big idea:
- It’s a folded format with a simple score and slit that can be folded by machine, which makes it a "Low Budget Wonder" in my book.
- It’s a format that is great for text or image heavy content, which makes it unique. Use it for Zines, booklets, brochures, maps, direct mail, self promo, and just about anything you can think of.
I hope you like the episode. Thanks for watching. I’ll see you next week.
