Fontis Solutions Is Acquired by Safeguard Business Systems, a Deluxe Corp. Co.

IRVINE, Calif.—May 14, 2015—Fontis Solutions, an employee-owned commercial printer and marketing communications firm based here, has been acquired by Dallas franchisor Safeguard Business Systems, a Deluxe Corp. company, that has about 290 franchisees, reported the Orange County Business Journal.

Founded in 1983, Fontis Solutions is a full-service commercial printing company that offers creative brand messages in print, promotional merchandise (uniforms, point-of-sale displays, etc.), online communications, as well as document management services, and fulfillment and marketing services.

According to the Business Journal, Fontis produced about $40 million in revenue last year. Some of the vertical markets the company serves include the automotive, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, high-tech medical, distribution, financial and education segments.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
