MONTGOMERYVILLE, Pa.—November 23, 2015—Foster—a major supplier of cutting devices and other postpress equipment for more than 65 years—has announced the immediate availability of a new lower profile roll lifter for handling wide or heavy media rolls, particularly those used with grand- and wide-format printers. The new design incorporates ergonomic features enabling printer operators to quickly and effortlessly lift media as heavy as 660 lbs (300 kg) and as wide as 16.4 ft (5 m). Designated the Low Profile On-a-Roll Lifter, the new device is the perfect companion to HP Latex 3000, 3100, and 3500 series printers.
Announcing the new lifter, Foster CEO Ted Borowsky said: "Our new Foster Low Profile On-a-Roll Lifter permits a single wide-format press operator to manipulate large heavy media rolls, even in shops with limited floor space. The rugged construction guarantees long lifter life, and a new ergonomic pull bar reduces operator effort. Foster is an HP Partner, and the new Low Profile On-a-Roll Lifters are available through HP dealers worldwide."
For more than 65 years, Foster has provided finishing solutions for corporate users and businesses in the graphic arts industries.
