NEWARK, DE—Sept. 25, 2012—After a successful drupa, manroland Inc is pleased to announce that Foxfire Printing and Packaging has made the decision to expand its existing printing capacity with a new 73" manroland sheetfed R900 XXL five-color press with coater.
Foxfire, which is featured on the cover of the September 2012 edition of Printing Impressions magazine, is looking forward to delivery of the new R900 XXL machine. The retail specialist is enjoying an economic expansion boom, fueled by an $6.5 million capital investment that includes the new manroland XXL press, as well as adding 38 new jobs
The press will come with a suite of QuickChange optimization features and Automatic Plate Loading. Exclusive OK Balance and Low Coverage Stabilization softwares will enhance quality and provide efficient performance for the life of the machine. Telepresence, the manroland remote diagnostic and maintenance software, provides a coordinated maintenance schedule and a quicker service response should it be required.
Fritz Light, Foxfire’s senior vice president, commented “We were considering a different press manufacturer, but once we looked at manroland and the 73" press we decided this was a better investment for our future. We are eager to get the new manroland press into production to take advantage of the new automation and production capibilities that this new equipment will provide.”
“This new super-large-format order builds upon the recent success the new manroland has achieved over the last six months. With our new and used press sales, PRINTVALUE advances via Future Proof upgrades and major relocation projects for customer’s existing presses, we believe the North American market now sees a reinvigorated manroland that is perfectly positioned to service our customers,” stated manroland Managing Director Michael Mugavero. “Let us show you how the manroland Sheetfed Team can assist you ‘Future Proof’ your business and achieve your goals.”
