HANOVER PARK, IL—February 18, 2015—Fujifilm North America, Graphic Systems Division is pleased to announce the install of the all-new Inca Onset R40LT, a scalable wide-format UV flatbed inkjet press, at Imperial Communications.
For over 100 years, Imperial Communications has been a high quality print and technology services provider, with an emphasis in POP and POS to the commercial print and packaging markets as well as other industry segments.
The truly remarkable output of the Inca Onset R40LT produces the quality that customers demand and have come to expect from the Onset series of printers. Uniquely built utilizing Inca’s scalable architecture, the Onset R40LT delivers stunning quality prints at speeds of 40- 5x10’ beds/hr., and can be field upgraded to boost speed as well as enhance the press productivity with additional options. With an efficient and cost effective plan to modify this press into a full Inca Onset R40i, print providers have the unique ability to upgrade the Inca Onset R40LT as their business grows.
“We were attracted to the capabilities of the Inca Onset R40i, particularly the quality of the prints, explained Jason Stormowski, president, Imperial Communications. “We also have the Fujifilm Acuity flatbed, and purchasing the Inca Onset R40LT delivers the quality we need while allowing us to upgrade later to add speed. It was by far the best choice for our business today.”
Imperial Communications is ready to take their business to the next level, and eager to move forward at their New Berlin, WI-based facility.
“The Inca Onset R40LT will enable us to move into vertical markets with existing customers,” relayed Joel Salzman, executive vice president, Imperial Communications. “Knowing we can add speed in the future, without any compromise in print quality, gives us the confidence to pursue new markets with our customers. We can expand as the business grows.”
The Inca Onset R40LT can be field upgraded with several options including two print speed upgrades, a four-channel to six- or eight-channel upgrade, as well as a white ink option. In addition, the second speed upgrade affords the customer to take advantage of one of three different automated media handling options to further increase productivity.
“The Inca Onset R40LT will bridge the gap of our conventional printing and our digital side,” added Stormowski. “It will bring in capabilities to print longer-run digital as well as shorter-run digital, and the capability for more personalization.”
Imperial Communications has been a dedicated Fujifilm customer for over 10 years.
“Fujifilm has done an amazing job for us, they guide us in the right direction, we always work together in planning and creating markets and new customers,” said Stormowski.
“The support we get from Fujifilm is a big factor; they are a great solution provider for us. We are very excited to have our new Inca Onset R40LT,” concluded Salzman.
