Fujifilm Reports Sales Success at drupa, Especially Its Inkjet Technology Solutions
DUSSELDORF, Germany — June 9, 2016 — As drupa 2016 reached its half-way point, Fujifilm announced that it had already reached over 60% of its sales target for the entire show.
Marcel Jonker, head of marketing, Fujifilm Europe, says, “drupa 2016 has proven to be a great success for Fujifilm so far. We’ve had huge interest in products right across the stand — from our Fujifilm Inkjet Technology (FIT) solutions, such as the Jet Press 720S, the Acuity series, and the industrial scale Onset X, through to our Superia range of offset solutions, especially the new ZD processless plate and XMF Ensemble, both of which were announced at the show. Our growing portfolio of products for the packaging and flexo market, including the new MJP20W press for flexible packaging and Flenex water-wash flexo plate, have also seen a number of sales.
“There has also been tremendous interest in our 5D printing strategy and partnership with EPAC, with many visitors coming onto the stand to discuss how Fujifilm can help them integrate full automation and true offset quality digital print into their operations.”
The company‘s flagship Jet Press 720S B2 inkjet press has been especially successful, with multiple orders taken, including a second press for German print house, Straub Druck & Medien.
Jonker concludes, “It’s clear from our discussions with visitors to the stand that many have come to this year‘s drupa with a clear understanding of how digital fits into their commercial strategy and how Fujifilm’s solutions – digital, offset and flexo - can help them to transform their business today. We look forward to a equally busy and exciting second half of the show, and to breaking through our sales target long before the show ends!”
Fujfilm’s main stand is in Hall 8b, with another smaller stand in Hall 1 to support the company’s partnership with Heidelberg.
