Wide-format Equipment
All the Fujifilm wide-format inkjet equipment showcased at SGIA will all be printing white ink. SGIA marks the worldwide debut of the Inca Onset S406i with White. Inca Digital has taken a radically new approach to printing with white including dual white channels, a re-formulated white ink, recirculating printheads and print pc software optimized for a white workflow. The Uvistar Pro-8 with White also makes it world debut at SGIA, bringing white ink capability to this grand-format roll press for the first time. Fujifilm will also showcase the award winning Acuity Advance Select HS flatbed printer, the newest in the ever popular portfolio of Acuity Series printers, as well as the Acuity LED 1600 hybrid printer. The Acuity Select HS is a high-speed four color platform offering white and clear ink options for the ultimate in creative 2 print applications on rigid and flexible media. The Acuity LED 1600 is a 64” wide printer that delivers superb quality for printing wide-format posters, window displays, back-lit signs, point-of-purchase materials, and product packaging. It utilizes low energy LED curing, offering the benefit of low operational cost.
Wide-format Media
The Fujifilm portfolio of wide-format media products also on display, includes an extensive range of proven, high-quality products that provide production efficiency and stunning graphics. The Visual Magnetics Graphic System matches magnetic-receptive technologies with the highest quality print media. Show attendees will see how this low-cost solution is changing the way retailers and designers execute major promotional campaigns. Visual Magnetics is a five-time recipient of the SGIA Product of the Year Award, most recently taking the title again in 2012.
Software
Fujifilm has also launched the ColorGATE Production Server 8 (PS8). The Fujifilm edition of ColorGATE’s Production Server 8 renders files quickly by utilizing the latest Adobe PDF Print Engine (APPE), and includes ink optimization and quality control modules. With the support of more than 850 different printers and cutters, it’s quite likely that ColorGATE can drive every proofer, wide-format printer and finishing system within a print facility. Combine this with an outstanding color management engine and Fujifilm’s technical expertise in color, and you have a full software solution dedicated to the wide-format inkjet and screen printing segments. XMF ColorPath SYNC has been referred to as the most robust color management solution technology on the market today.
