MOONACHIE, NJ—November 17, 2014—On Friday afternoon, a burning machine motor set off fumes that released an irritating odor that sent eight employees to the hospital and caused dozens more to be evaluated at the 4over Inc. plant located here, reported the Cliffview Pilot.
Police Sgt. Jeff Napolitano told the Pilot that Moonachie police, firefighters and the First Aid & Rescue Squad responded, along with a Bergen County Hazardous Materials Unit, to the scene on 4 Empire Boulevard just before 2 p.m.
