Gasch Printing Print Designer Plans Vertical 28-story Descent
ODENTON, MD—June 6, 2013—Gasch Printing is proud to announce the upcoming activity of their Print Designer, Martin Nibali. He will once again vertically descend down a 28-story hotel, to raise awareness for the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland. Martin will rappel from the roof to the pool deck of the Marriott Waterfront Hotel in Baltimore on June 8th, 2013.
Martin’s reason for the descent is not because he hates taking the elevator; it’s to support the National Kidney Foundation’s efforts for finding a cure for kidney disease. His story is like many other participants of this annual event; he is no outsider to the ramifications of having and losing a loved one with kidney disease. Nibali has said he is grateful to the National Kidney Foundation for doing all that they could to give him the extra time with his father (Tom Nibali), who passed away from kidney complications last May. Nibali wants to help spread the word about the Foundation, as they are the only voluntary health agency in the state of Maryland dedicated to the prevention, treatment, and cure of kidney and urinary tract diseases.
Martin Nibali will slide down a belayed rope attached to the Baltimore hotel, along with several others who are rappelling for the cause. For those who are not thrill seekers, but are looking for ways to contribute, donations are accepted and will benefit the National Kidney Foundation. Each participant is asked to raise a personal donation for this cause of $1,000. To make a donation to Martin Nibali and his mission to push himself over the edge for the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland, visit his personal rappel page to make a contribution of your choice amount. We hope that you will join Martin and pledge to seek a cure for kidney disease.
Martin is a prepress print designer for Gasch Printing of Odenton, MD. Gasch Printing offers nationwide digital book printing services to publishing companies and self-published authors.
