GBC 5031 Independent Feeder to Debut at GRAPH EXPO 2012

LINCOLNSHIRE, IL—October 4, 2012—GBC, the market leader in document finishing, will be introducing a standalone version of its popular 5031TS Feeder at GRAPH EXPO 2012, October 7-10 in Chicago at Booth #217. Customer demand in the finishing marketplace has been strong for a standalone sheet feeder that can be attached to multiple brands of laminators. In response, GBC has developed the 5031TS Feeder with an optional control panel that allows the feeder to work in conjunction with virtually any brand of laminator to feed cut sheets 6” wide up to 31” wide.

GBC developed the 5031 Feeder for ease of use and flexibility for high volume print shops. “We saw the need in the marketplace for this feeder and how it could provide customers with an efficient finishing solution and offer them increases in productivity for their laminating processes,” explained Bob Elliott, product manager, Professional Laminating Equipment.

The 5031TS Feeder can be used with two-sided laminators for both hot and cold laminating applications. The new feeder can feed paper stocks from 20 # bond to 24 pt. cover stock, (75–480 gsm), and operate up to 50 ft/min and run sheets between 11” and 40” in length. The feeder’s portable design allows the operator to easily move the device from one laminating station to another. Simply roll the 5031 up to the laminator, attach the encoder, set the parameters of the application into the control panel, and begin production.
