For the theatrical release of The Lego Batman Movie, Warner Bros France used the creativity of agency BLUE499 and JCDecaux to create a unique live experience at three Parisian bus shelters. JCDecaux Live, in collaboration with BLUE449, imagined and created an original and entertaining event device: integrating a grapple in three bus shelters to play and win Lego Batman keychains.
Starting February 1st, passers-by can play and try to win Lego Batman keychains in the middle of thousands of Lego bricks at three bus shelters in Paris — at 128 rue de Rennes, 38 avenue de l'Opéra and 3 Place de la Bastille. The teams of JCDecaux Live integrated the claw grabber machine into the bus shelter. With the push of a button, passers-by can move the grapple from left to right to aim, then ower it to try to grab one of the keychains.
This installation is a great way to engage the public in the brand and drive awareness for the upcoming movie release. If you want to grab one of your own keychains —or try your hand at it— you only have until February 8th to give it a go. The Lego Batman opens in the U.S. on February 10th.
