GEW (Booth N743) is showcasing its full product range with an emphasis on the latest LeoLED UV curing systems, particularly for sheetfed offset applications. The company is also introducing customers to its new North American distributor, GMH UV, who will be servicing printers in the sheetfed offset and wide web offset markets.
“We have made huge gains in our market presence in the US since the previous show in 2019, and with GMH UV as our new distributor we anticipate even further growth with the expert advice and support they will provide,” says Gary Doman, international sales manager for sheetfed, GEW. “The energy and interest surrounding LED-UV production is as strong as ever, and we look forward to speaking to many commercial printers at the show who are looking to find out how LED-UV can benefit their business.”
GEW is also featuring its LED and mercury arc systems for a broad range of printing, coating, and converting applications, including interchangeable “ArcLED” systems that enable the use of both arc and LED curing technologies on the same press.
“GEW engineers UV curing systems for commercial, packaging, and graphics printing across offset, screen, digital inkjet, and flexo,” says Jennifer Heathcote, business development manager, GEW. “If it can be cured with UV, we have the solution … and with over 20,000 GEW systems now installed globally, we have the design and engineering expertise to handle all manner of bespoke customer requirements.”
“GEW is exhibiting at PRINTING United for the first time, and it is a very exciting prospect, we have so much to offer and this show gives us a great opportunity to reach new customers from across the USA and beyond,” says Robert Rae, managing director of sales, GEW. “Our position in the commercial market in the USA is growing rapidly, and our USA office, GEW Inc, is now ably supported by GMH UV who are our new distributors within this sector for the US, Canada, and Mexico. We see PRINTING United as a great opportunity to further enhance this position.”
