Glatfelter Refreshes Pixelle High-Speed Inkjet Papers
YORK, Pa.—July 6, 2015—Glatfelter has announced a brand refresh, including a new Website, for its premium line of high-speed inkjet (HSIJ) papers, Pixelle.
“The Pixelle brand update is a reflection of our commitment to the high-speed inkjet market,” said Mark Comensoli, general sales manager for Glatfelter’s Engineered Products Group. “We’ve been a leader in manufacturing premium papers for high-speed inkjet for 15 years, but we want customers to know we’re more than a paper manufacturer – we’re an industry partner. With the new pixellepaper.com, we’re supplying printers with the tools, training and support they need to succeed in this rapidly growing industry.”
The design and specifications of the more than 30 products in the Pixelle line will remain the same, but key steps were taken to modernize the brand image and simplify the product ordering process:
- Changes to product names were made to make it easier to select the right paper for the right job. This was done by streamlining names and grouping products into three categories (untreated, treated and coated).
- A new, user-friendly Website, pixellepaper.com, is available to provide a resource-rich environment to customers. The new site houses videos, product updates, sell sheets, ideas for creative applications – and much more.
- A refined logo was designed to echo Pixelle’s key attributes – high fidelity imaging, speed, flexibility and versatility.
“We know our customers value easy-to-define solutions for their market needs, and that’s why we made the decision to update the Pixelle product line,” said Tim Hess, vice president of sales and marketing, specialty papers. “Developing training tools and providing extensive support to our customers not only reinforces our commitment to this market - but will ensure their success.”
With the most diverse product portfolio in the market, Pixelle delivers superior performance, exceptional image fidelity and unmatched value. The comprehensive portfolio means customers don’t have to double — or sometimes triple — source for their printing needs, saving time and money.
“It’s no surprise that high-speed inkjet is the fastest growing segment in the paper industry today,” said Comensoli. “This technology brings speed, customization, increased productivity and superior results to our customers.”
