The Great Lakes Graphics Association (GLGA) has announced that Julie Lopezlena has joined the association as their new Sales and Member Engagement Director for Illinois and Indiana.
Ms. Lopezlena, a native of Minnesota, grew up in her family’s printing business. Before joining GLGA, she served as the director of sales for Navitor, Inc., overseeing the management of sales operations for multiple products and print technology. Her deep background also includes experience in international business development both with Taylor Corporation in Mexico City and with Euromonitor International in Chicago.
In GLGA’s newly created Sales and Member Engagement Director position, Ms. Lopezlena is responsible for identifying and cultivating new strategic relationships toward the development of new members for the association. She also will assist current members in strategic use of GLGA’s services and benefits to maximize their return on investment.
“I’m very excited to join the association and continue my passion for everything print. We have a unique opportunity to bring print to its next level, and I’m excited to be a part of that process!” Ms. Lopezlena said.
“The Board of Directors and I believe Julie is a great fit for the position,” said Joseph Lyman, GLGA president. “She is going to be a great addition to the association and resource to our members.”
Ms. Lopezlena’s first day was Monday, May 23. She hit the ground running helping to co-host the Addison Graphics Excellence Awards Celebration on May 25 plus visiting several members at their facilities during her first two weeks. GLGA members also can meet her at the upcoming Indiana Golf Outing on June 15 at Plum Creek Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana, and the Chicagoland Printers Scholarship Golf Outing on July 20 at White Pines Golf Club in Bensenville, Illinois.
