GLS Cos. Names Steve Kirk Vice President of Operations
BROOKLYN PARK, MN—February 3, 2014—GLS Cos. (GLS), a leading Minnesota printing and digital marketing services provider, has named Steve R. Kirk, vice president of operations.
Joining GLS on November 11, 2013, Kirk brings over 30 years of experience in the print industry developing a customer-focused and result-oriented environment.
Before accepting the vice president of operations position at GLS, he was the general manager for Cenveo, a leading global provider of print and related resources. Kirk held positions in senior management for several other leading printers, and worked at Quad/Graphics from 1979 to 2006.
He has a Black Belt in Six Sigma and is an expert in Lean methodologies. He completed many business management courses at New York State University, the University of Madison Wisconsin, and most recently earned a business management degree from Northwestern Kellogg University. He has been sought out for his industry expertise throughout the years and has addressed audiences at several print industry seminars.
