Goss Magnum Highlights New Facility
PORTSMOUTH, NH—A landmark Goss web offset press and inserting system top the hardware acquisitions that will grace the new 70,000-square-foot facility for Seacoast Media Group.
Among the items ordered by Seacoast are the first-ever Goss Magnum two-around press in the United States with 32 printing couples, and a Goss NP632P2 inserting system with 22 hoppers. Seacoast Media will use the system to produce the newspapers it distributes in southern New Hampshire and Maine, along with several commercial print publications.
The Seacoast Media Group produces The Portsmouth Herald, The Hampton Union, The Exeter News-Letter, The Rockingham News and The Dover Community News in New Hampshire, as well as The York County Coast Star and The York Weekly in Maine. It also manages local distribution of newspaper titles including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Boston Globe and USA Today.
