Graphco to Host 'The Unfair Advantage' Open House at EZ Mailing in Indianapolis

The dates for this event are set for March 3-4, 2022, between 10:00 and 3:00 each day. A strong partnership has developed between EZ Mailing and Graphco during the three short years since Kevin Bennett invested in an RMGT 9 Series Press powered by LED technology. The rapid growth and evolution of EZ Mailing makes this state-of-the-art facility an ideal location for The Unfair Advantage Open House.

This event will showcase the many advantages gained by combining the highest quality, and most cost-effective, RMGT LED Offset print with the latest in Horizon finishing solutions in what was originally a digital-oriented mailing company. “The transition to LED Offset on our RMGT has been seamless,” states Kevin Bennett, President of EZ Mailing. “Adding the Horizon equipment has helped us complete the puzzle for projects of every size and shape. Gary Greis from Graphco had to talk me into the press, but the rest of this finishing equipment just made too much sense not to buy.”

The economic benefits that EZ Mailing has enjoyed in print are also being achieved in their finishing department which now features an entire suite of Horizon finishing solutions.  Very quickly after installing the RMGT, it was clear that folding and saddle-stitching the volume of booklet work that this new press produces was a huge bottleneck, so a Horizon StitchLiner was installed to free up more scheduling room for additional production.  “The StitchLiner convinced me that Horizon equipment would help us realize the full benefit of our RMGT investment,” comments Bennett.

In addition to the StitchLiner, EZ Mailing’s finishing department features the Horizon RD-4055-DMC rotary die cutter, the Horizon AFC-566-FG fully automatic paper folder, and two Horizon CRF-362 creasing/folding machines.  “Our quality and cost are about the best in town,” says Bennett, “and our speed to market is what our customers seem to like the most since we do lots of direct mail with tight deadlines. We get the approval, we print the job, we roll it into finishing, and we box the jobs up that afternoon. Or we inkjet and mail the jobs the same day. Our customers love that.”
