Graphic Creations Invests in Fujifilm J Press 750HS Inkjet Press
A Brief History
Founded in 1987 in Knoxville, Tennessee with the primary purpose of serving the University of Tennessee and surrounding communities, Graphic Creations brought a personal touch to the printing industry. Now a third-generation company, it is ranked in the top 300 printers in our nation, and has become a staple in the Knoxville community and beyond. With a 5-star reputation to uphold, Graphic Creations’ owner, Jim Caughorn, is constantly looking for the latest in technology to keep his 31 employees well equipped. Knowing the importance of taking care of his customers through increased productivity and superior quality, he made the decision to add the J Press 750HS to his 13,000-sq.-ft. facility.
Growing with Technology
Integrating the J Press 750HS into its operations will give Graphic Creations the ability to dramatically reduce cost and turn time for their customers. It is Fujifilm’s 4th generation of the industry’s leading production inkjet sheet-fed press. Built to increase revenue for print companies, the J Press 750HS features a new larger sheet size of 23”x29.5” and an increased speed of 5,400 sheets per hour. It also doubles the output of letter size documents over the previous generations and is now the fastest, full color, B2 sheet-fed digital press on the market, making it a perfect solution for print professionals like Graphic Creations. Combining the best of offset and the best of digital, the J Press 750HS delivers exceptional quality for customers and increased productivity for employees - a win, win, in Jim’s eyes. It will allow more control over the entire customer experience from production proofs to shorter turn times.
Continuing Legendary Customer Service
While technology leads the way, GC would not be where it is without its awesome customers. “Having repeat clients for over 30 years is the driving force to our growth and becoming better & more efficient at what we do. Design and branding services combined with our printing, promo, apparel and wide format options, allow us to do what we love and that’s helping customers build their brands. The J press 750HS will expand these opportunities by bringing more work in house, giving us better control of cost and efficiency.”
