Graphic Village to Purchase Truepress JET 560HDX from SCREEN Americas
SCREEN Americas announces its plans to install the Truepress JET 560HDX at Graphic Village in Cincinnati, Ohio. The commitment from the full-service printing, packaging and fulfillment company is the first for SCREEN Americas and comes within days of SCREEN announcing the release of its product to the market.
An existing SCREEN customer, Graphic Village purchased the Truepress JET 520HD+ in 2023 and ultimately attracted an exclusive annual million-dollar print program from a company that Graphic Village could not have fulfilled without the SCREEN digital inkjet press. Looking to replicate this success, the decision to move forward with investing in the Truepress JET 560HDX derived from Graphic Village’s customers’ increased demand for personalization and flexibility.
“We needed a digital variable press to meet our customers’ needs at a competitive price,” said Executive Chairman Eric Kahn of Graphic Village. “The HDX will also counter our labor challenges since SCREEN’s digital inkjet technology is so easy to operate. Automation is important and the quality from SCREEN rivals that of offset. Every page is perfect and is the same.”
As a print provider for large Fortune 500 companies requesting millions of pieces per week, Graphic Village’s relationships with its equipment suppliers are paramount to its success. “Our relationship with SCREEN is very unique,” said Kahn. “We have easy access to just about everyone in both the United States and Japan. That has worked very well for us.”
Founded in 1921, Graphic Village primarily serves the manufacturing, retail, financial services, education, restaurant, nonprofit and healthcare industries. In addition to its headquarters in Cincinnati, it has operating facilities in Chicago, Louisville and Muncie, Indiana.
The installation is anticipated for fall 2024.
