Graphtech Adds Canon imagePRESS C700 and imagePRESS C8000VP Color Digital Presses
MELVILLE, N.Y. — November 8, 2016 — Canon Solutions America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., has announced that Graphtech, a premier commercial printer and marketing services provider, has installed the Canon imagePRESS C700 and Canon imagePRESS C8000VP in an effort to build on its reputation as one of Central Pennsylvania's leading message providers. Graphtech became the 2,000th Canon Solutions America Enterprise Services and Solutions division customer to acquire the C700 – a landmark installation for both companies.
Since 1982, Graphtech has grown strong roots in its community to build a lasting foundation for its valued customers and employees. Recognized throughout the region as a commercial printer with a genuine customer-first approach, Graphtech has established itself as an all-encompassing print provider for customers of all sizes and operating in various industries. Starting with humble beginnings and a two-person team, Graphtech has since grown into a highly sought after full service print, promotional, and creative business partner that provides its customers with unwavering support and quality.
As Graphtech has continued to grow in both size and volume, its relationship with Canon Solutions America has remained a key component to its evolution and current position as a Pennsylvania-based print leader. Utilizing different generations of Canon's digital print technologies over the last 15 years, Graphtech most recently upgraded its fleet to add the industry-leading Canon imagePRESS C700 and game-changing Canon imagePRESS C8000VP Color Digital Presses to meet the company's advanced quality requirements. Additionally, with a steady influx in production, Graphtech chose to enhance its already dynamic fleet — which now boasts some of Canon's most valuable and efficient color digital presses — to provide its customers with next-generation technology that can pave the way to expansive business opportunities.
"Our business model has always been one that's built around what our customers need us to do," comments Jon Williams, owner of Graphtech. "With that comes the ever-important need to provide our valued customer base with unwavering quality on their vast assortment of jobs, and that is exactly what the Canon imagePRESS products are helping us achieve."
Engineered for demanding production environments, the imagePRESS C8000VP/C10000VP series production color digital presses incorporate innovative technologies which allow them to run up to 100 letter-size images per minute on uncoated stocks ranging from 60-350 gsm and coated stocks ranging from 70-350 gsm. This feature, along with its offset-like, vibrant and stable output quality, has helped Canon Solutions America customers like Graphtech achieve outstanding productivity and dynamic print flexibility. Also providing users with versatile in-line finishing portfolio for a white-paper-in, finished-product-out workflow, the Canon imagePRESS C8000VP is helping companies of all sizes produce a broader range of applications in significantly quicker turnaround times.
Graphtech's recent acquisition of the Canon imagePRESS C700 Color digital press was a significant moment for both Graphtech and its frequent and trusted collaborator, Canon Solutions America. The installation marked the 2,000th unit sold by Canon Solutions America's Enterprise Services and Solutions Division, a testament to the press's advanced levels of print quality, efficiency, and versatility in both commercial and in-house print environments.
"Since its launch, the Canon imagePRESS C700 has helped redefine industry standards from a print flexibility and application perspective," explains Tracie Sokol, VP, Marketing, Enterprise Services and Solutions, Canon Solutions America. "Working with customers like Graphtech ensures that we continue to adapt to the ever-changing print landscape and develop products that meet the evolving demands of print providers around the nation."
Going beyond Graphtech's acquisition of the newest imagePRESS products, the company's relationship with Canon Solutions America transcends the installation of new equipment. As witnessed by its customers, Graphtech looks for collaborators that value service and customer support as pillars of their business strategies. As noted by Williams, it continues to be Canon Solutions America's dedicated service team that helps Graphtech concurrently expand its solutions offerings for existing clients while reaching new customer bases.
"One of the main reasons we continue to be loyal to Canon Solutions America is their service team that's become part of the Graphtech family," adds Williams. "The products and technology will always be there, but reliable service is priceless in this industry. We look forward to continued success with Canon Solutions America."
