Richmond, VA-based B&B Printing has been designated a Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator (CESQG) by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality as a result of reducing the amount of hazardous waste materials produced to zero.

The Jones Co., a Houston commercial printer and a division of Nationwide Graphics/Premier Print, has earned SFI certification. Already FSC-certified, the printer was also recertified to the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard.
Indianapolis-based HardingPoorman Group (HPG) reports that it is on the EPA's "Top 20 Printers" list of the largest green power purchasers in the commercial printing business. HPG is purchasing more than 4 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of green power annually, which is enough to meet 100 percent of its purchased electricity use.

Resulting from its commitment to pursue FSC certification for its facilities, Domtar Corp. has marked a significant milestone with the sale of its millionth ton of FSC certified paper. Domtar's offering has evolved from one product to a full line of environmentally and socially responsible papers, known collectively as Domtar EarthChoice. Today, the EarthChoice family includes a wide range of products for a variety of end uses, including copying, printing, mailing, publishing and more.
Four of Flint Group's offset ink series earned bio-renewable content (BRC) certification. K+E, Arrowstar and Starbase sheetfed series, as well as Arroweb heatset inks, were certified by the Bio-derived Renewable Content (BRC) labeling program run by NAPIM (National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers).
Agfa Graphics' GreenWorks program now includes a wider pool of printers. It recognizes and honors printers that integrate, support and promote environmentally sound practices within their facilities. Agfa has recognized 130 printers in Canada and the United States for their green printing efforts. PI
