GSP, a leading provider of retail services and solutions, is proud to announce that it has recently achieved G7 Master Qualification status for the tenth consecutive year. As part of an elite group of print service providers worldwide, GSP has successfully completed the program’s stringent qualification process year after year.
G7 Master Qualification is awarded by Idealliance, a nonprofit dedicated to guiding print production standards. G7 Master Status has become the industry’s leading set of best practices for achieving gray balance and the driving force for achieving visual similarity across print processes. G7, when implemented and managed correctly, will guarantee the best color results possible unique to the print device, ink colorants and substrate.
“As a G7 Master printer, GSP can use a G7 qualified digital proof for color checking or to reproduce a file without a proof,” explained Elaine Scrima, GSP’s vice president of operations. “Achieving G7 status ensures that our printed press sheets match digital proofs, speeds up workflow and enhances overall printing consistency - keeping costs down and jobs on schedule.”
