GTI Graphic Technology Wins Must See 'Em Award
NEWBURGH, NY—August 7, 2013—GTI Graphic Technology, a manufacturer of lighting systems for critical color viewing, color communication and color match assessment has been awarded a 2013 Must See 'Em award for its Soft View model SOFV-1xiQ. Must See 'Ems are awarded to products that represent the most compelling products on the PRINT 13 show floor. GTI will be demonstrating the Soft View model SOFV-1xiQ at PRINT 13, scheduled to begin September 8, at McCormick Place in Chicago.
The Soft View SOFV-1xiQ is a desktop soft proofing system that easily provides accurate color comparisons between hard copy prints and computer monitors. The SOFV-1xiQ includes a viewing station and the revolutionary wireless iQ sensor. The system enables superb lighting uniformity with a small desktop footprint that meets ISO 3664:2009 D50 light quality for superior color rendition.
Robert McCurdy, vice president of sales and marketing at GTI stated, “The new SOFV-1xiQ represents a significant improvement versus standard lighting products for soft proofing because it intelligently and automatically matches the luminance level of the viewing station to that of the monitor.” He added, “The wireless connectivity between the revolutionary iQ sensor and viewing station provides automatic luminance matching, automatic calibration, and ambient light monitoring ensuring that ISO 3664:2009 D50 standards are met.”
Higher Quality and Production Efficiency
A system to quickly and easily achieve accurate and consistent viewing station to monitor calibration has not existed until the introduction of the SOFV-1xiQ. The 1xiQ removes the manual processes and guess work from soft proofing and replaces it with an automated streamlined process that will shorten the production cycle, reduce cost and improve customer satisfaction.
GTI at PRINT 13
PRINT 13, North America’s largest industry trade show, is scheduled for September 8-12 at McCormick place in Chicago. GTI will be located in booth #4437 at the show. In addition to the SOFV-1xiQ, GTI will highlight a wide-range of products including color viewing stations, desktop viewers, color rendition demonstrators, color matching systems and wall viewing systems.
PRINT 13 will be the first time GTI shows a wall viewing system in North America. These systems are ideal for areas where use of a color viewing station is not possible. GTI wall systems will be shown by GTI and EFI (#2602).
In the Idealliance booth (#4877), GTI will feature a custom made soft proofing, multi-source station and a Simultaneous Color Viewer. Additional products will be on display in Alwan Color (# 4948) and ColorHQ (#4948) booths.
