Hal Stratton Joins Komori America’s Marketing Department

ROLLING MEADOWS, IL—August 9, 2011—Komori America, a premier manufacturer of sheetfed and web offset printing presses, announced that Hal Stratton has been hired to fill the role of market development manager. Reporting to Komori’s director of marketing, Susan Baines, Stratton will be responsible for actively supporting the company’s relationship-centric marketing initiatives designed to meet the changing needs of the marketplace and provide greater value to customers and their unique business issues. His focus will include providing leadership for Komori’s Customer Advisory Council, collaborating with internal and external marketing partners to identify opportunities for integration of marketing efforts, developing market segments for the Komori product line, and liaising with vendor groups and industry associations.

A 31 year veteran of the printing industry, Stratton worked for manroland in varying positions over the last decade, with his most recent role being director of applied technologies and strategic relations where he was responsible for product support to all sales management and representatives in North America.

Stratton was also recently elected secretary/treasurer of the Technical Association of the Graphic Arts (TAGA) and currently serves on the IDEAlliance Print Properties and Colormetrics Council and Printing Industries of America Supplier Advisory.
