ROCHESTER, N.Y. — March 31, 2017 — Hammer is pioneering a new generation of offset printing with the purchase of a new eight-color, 41" KBA offset press. This new configuration is a unique layout to the company's portfolio of presses. This press will represent the newest technology available at fast speeds. It will feature cut and stack applications, the new "Flying JobChange."
Flying JobChange allows an operator to change plates on one or more printing units while the press is running. The company says that it hopes to teach its customers how to take advantage of this new feature for recipes, promotions, and semi-variable data.
The new KBA press is due to arrive at Hammer July 2017. The company is excited to add this press configuration into its production platform.
