Heidelberg to Demo Color Matching Between Inkjet Printer and Sheetfed Press
KENNESAW, GA—May 31, 2011—Heidelberg will offer a one-day workshop on how grand-format inkjet printing can help printers grow their businesses and increase their profitability on June 8 from 9 a.m-2 p.m. in its North American Print & Packaging Technology Center located here. Heidelberg will be color-matching the VUTEk GS 3200 printer to its flagship Speedmaster XL 105 offset press.
“Printers who have experienced wide-format output that didn’t match their offset work already know how difficult color matching can be,” said Ray Cassino, Director Product Management Prinect & CtP for Heidelberg USA. “On June 8, workshop participants will see how easy color matching grand-format inkjet to offset really can be when using the right tools from Heidelberg, and how critical the G7 certification process is in overcoming color matching issues. For printers who have added or who plan to add grand-format printing to their offerings, this workshop is a must.”
Attendees will hear from other printers who have successfully added grand-format inkjet to their businesses, including investment requirements, business requirements, space requirements, applications, installations and staff education and training.
To register for the workshop, customers should contact their Heidelberg Account Manager or click here. Don’t delay. Space is limited.
Those interested in learning more about Heidelberg’s grand-format inkjet offering but cannot attend the workshop may download a free white paper discussing how printers can offer their customers a wider range of print effects including those made possible by entirely new applications based on white ink.
