Heidelberg’s Prinect User Days 2012 Focused on Opportunities, Mastering Structural Changes

As in previous years, the two-day event took place at the Print Media Academy in Heidelberg. It was devised and hosted by a small team of representatives from various Prinect users under the motto “by users for users.”

Sharing ideas and knowledge
The workshops and discussions addressed issues such as web-to-print with its various business models (HEI Integration), automation of management and production processes with the new Prinect Business Manager (HEI Productivity), and cost-optimized, flexible production with digital and offset printing (HEI Flexibility). Participants also took the opportunity to see the live demonstration of Prinect at the redesigned Print Media Center of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, which illustrated the innovative integration of MIS, web-to-print, and production.
