Speedmaster Video Contest Results Are In
The votes are in. The YouTube community has chosen three winners from the top ten entries in the video competition "Be unbeatable. Be a Speedmaster." based on the number of likes. Spanish print shop Cevagraf SCCL came first with 664 likes, closely followed by Kawagraf Embalagens Brazil in second place with 597 likes. Third place went to the Druckstudio Group in Düsseldorf, Germany, with 155 likes. All three videos can be viewed at www.speedmasterunbeatable.com.
The Cevagraf SCCL print shop in Rubí, near Barcelona in Spain, came up with an extraordinary idea. It resurrected a bygone era by presenting its Speedmaster 75 as the new star of silent movies. This won the company the first prize of a printing unit guard in an exclusive design. Cevagraf will also be featured in the next possible issue of the Heidelberg News customer magazine.
A cooperative company that produces magazines, catalogs, books and brochures using offset and digital printing, Cevagraf also offers web services and an online shop.
Second place went to Kawagraf Embalagens in the Brazilian city of São Paulo. This print shop gave its Speedmaster XL 105 wings. The video accompanies a "passenger" all the way from check-in to his safe landing—naturally with a high-quality print product in his suitcase. Packaging print shop Kawagraf Embalagens, which has been operating both inside and outside Brazil since 1994, receives a unique picture that, like the printing unit guard, incorporates design elements of the "Speedmaster. Unbeatable." campaign.
The third prize, a valuable Montblanc pen, has been won by Druckstudio in Düsseldorf, Germany. This commercial print shop is a print and media service provider operating in the high-quality segment and aspires to be the best and most sustainable print shop. In its highly original video, the Druckstudio Group sends its Speedmaster XL 105 into the sparring ring. And guess who wins the speed-punching contest?
The "Be unbeatable. Be a Speedmaster." video competition took place between February 3 and April 13, 2014. Customers were invited to submit video clips showing them and their Speedmaster presses in action. In clips lasting around three minutes, customers were asked to explain what makes their Speedmaster unbeatable. A panel of judges from Heidelberg selected the top ten entries from the clips sent in from around the world. From June 1 to July 1, 2014, the Internet community voted for the top three on YouTube based on the number of likes.
The video competition is part of the "Speedmaster. Unbeatable." advertising campaign that Heidelberg launched in summer 2013. The Website www.speedmasterUnbeatable.com offers numerous examples of customers recounting successes they have enjoyed with their Speedmaster presses. The Website is continuously being updated with new features. In addition to the success stories, the "In demand" category contains customer statements in the form of short video clips.
