AJ Images Finishes Ahead with New Bindery Equipment from Heidelberg
AJ Images, a printing, bindery, and electronic prepress imaging center located in Roselle, N.J. has turned to Heidelberg to upgrade its postpress equipment. After installing a POLAR 115 XT high-speed cutter last year, the company has now added a Stitchmaster ST 270 saddlestitcher. The new Stitchmaster has brought increased run speed, efficiency, and versatility - all with faster makeready times. This enables AJ Images to be more competitive on short-run, long-run, and more complex jobs. Vice President of Marketing and Sales Arnold Grebel reports that the Stitchmaster ST 270’s pockets are easy to set and the reject caliber, stitcher section and trimmer work flawlessly at any speed. The ST 270 is quieter than any of the other machines in the shop. “We now can handle many complex stitching jobs - pocket folder covers, douglegate folded inserts, reverse rollfolded signatures and even single page inserts with ease,” said Greebel. AJ Images serves a wide range of customers, from high-end corporate clients and advertising agencies, both locally and nationally, to state government agencies. Founded in 1967 by Arnold and Janet Greebel (president), AJ Images currently has 28 employees and is a female-owned and family-run business.
