Heidelberg USA Announces New Product Installation Report

Docuplex Expands, Moves in Speedmaster SM 52 and Printmaster QM 46-2
When Docuplex Graphics, a general commercial printer in Wichita, Kan., moved into a new building in June, it also installed a pair of new Heidelberg presses: a Speedmaster SM 52 five-color perfector with aqueous coater and a two-color Printmaster QM 46. “New building, new market, higher volume - it all came together at the same time,” says President Jay Ewy, referring to the company’s decision to add more four-color printing (direct mail, sell sheets and booklets) to its repertoire. The company’s primary business has been high-quality, multi-color business-to-business printing – stationery, letterheads, envelopes and agency work - that it now produces on the new P-QM 46. Elsewhere in its shop, Docuplex operates a Heidelberg GTO two-color press, as well as a Stahl B-20 folder and a Stitchmaster ST 100 saddlestitcher. The company’s 21 employees serve a regional clientele in and around Wichita.
