Heidelberg Prosetter 52 the Linchpin of Growth for Ullrich Printing
Ullrich Printing, a small commercial printer located in Knoxville, Tenn., recently upgraded its prepress department with a Heidelberg Prosetter 52 two-page violet platesetter with automatic single cassette loader (SCL). Owner Peter Ullrich says that the installation is the first step in a companywide expansion into the market for short-run, full-color printing. The company also operates a pair of Printmaster 46-2 presses, a POLAR 78 ED paper cutter, a Stahlfolder USA B-20 folder with right angle attachment, and a Stitchmaster Stitchexpert saddlestitcher. Established in 1979, family-run Ullrich Printing provides general commercial print services to a local corporate and business clientele. The company has five employees.
