Old Ina Corporation Thinks Fast, Installs Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102
Even though it is one of the largest print shops in southern Arizona, Old Ina Corporation has been bursting at the seams. The print shop had reached full capacity with still more work coming in - and it needed a solution fast. “We were looking at 40-inch offerings,”said Plant Manager Chad Smith. “We decided that Heidelberg’s CD 102 would be the best for us.” The print shop is running its new Heidelberg six-color Speedmaster CD 102 with coater during three shifts - usually at full speed. Smith said he is impressed with the higher output. “Makeready is twice as fast as our 29-inch press,” he said. “With the new machine, we already have much less waste and are running jobs more quickly.” Old Ina Corporation is an all-Heidelberg shop that also installed a POLAR 115 X cutter in 2005. “We have all-Heidelberg prepress, press, and finishing equipment,” Smith said. Old Ina Corporation serves many types of clients, including corporations, advertising agencies, universities and local small businesses in the Tucson area. Now celebrating its 25th anniversary, Old Ina Corporation currently employs 120 people.
