It’s No Mystery: Copy Cats Printing Raises the Bar with Printmaster PM 52
With the installation of a four-color Printmaster PM 52 with perfector from Heidelberg, Copy Cats Printing is one of the premier print shops in Mississippi. Owner Terry Lacy runs the Printmaster PM 52 at full-speed whenever the job allows, and reports that the press “far surpasses” his expectations. “Quality has improved significantly, especially with the upgrade from a two-color press,” he said. Lacy uses many of Heidelberg’s consumables, including plates, chemistry and blankets for the Printmaster PM 52 as well as for a previously installed Heidelberg QM 46. The company also recently upgraded its prepress department with the installation of a new Prosetter 74 from Heidelberg. Located in Hattiesburg, Miss., Copy Cats Printing produces high-quality general commercial work for clients such as universities, law firms and healthcare companies. With 13 employees, Copy Cats Printing specializes in color work and desktop publishing along with all types of general commercial projects. Lacy and his wife Jan have owned Copy Cats Printing since 1982.
