L&L Printers Inc. Meets Demand with New Heidelberg Equipment
L & L Printers, Inc. in Carlsbad, Calif., is growing so rapidly that the shop recently made an acquisition to keep up with demand and has brought stitching in-house. Owner Bill Anderson said the shop just purchased a Heidelberg Saddlestitcher ST 90, POLAR Jogger and Stahlfolder. After doing research on the best equipment for the shop, Anderson selected the Heidelberg saddlestitcher due to its ease of operation and set-up. So far, Anderson reports quick makereadies and fast runs on the new saddlestitcher. The shop is currently running the saddlestitcher for two shifts a day. L & L Printers was founded in 1959 and has grown to 65 employees. Its clients are primarily advertising agencies and action sports companies. L & L Printers owns other Heidelberg equipment, including two POLAR cutters, two Stahlfolders, a 40-inch two-color Speedmaster XL 105 with perfector and a Quickmaster QM DI.
