KENNESAW, GA—November 7, 2014—Heidelberg USA has announced the following management changes: Thomas (Tom) McTernan has been appointed to the position of vice president for national consumables sales for Heidelberg USA. In his new role, McTernan will report to Thomas Topp, senior vice president consumables and senior finance officer for Heidelberg USA, and assume responsibility for overseeing the go-to-market strategy for consumables and CtP in the U.S. market. McTernan noted on his new position, "While I will sorely miss working with the central region, I look forward to leading a new effort dedicated to growing our competitive position in the U.S. consumables market. We have a terrific team in Kennesaw, strong management support in both the United States and Germany, and a solid plan for continued success. I can’t wait to get started."
McTernan's wife Tamara, along with children Sean and Shannon, are excited about his promotion and about the prospect of relocating to the Atlanta area.
Former Account Executive (central) Randy Wiersma will take over for McTernan as regional vice president, central region, reporting to Juergen Grimm.
